PURPOSE:To provide applicability as a heat emitting substance by using a resistance body, which is electroconductive fiber formed by coupling copper sulfide with the surface of organic highpolymer fiber. CONSTITUTION:A resistance heat-emitting body consists of electroconductive fiber, which is formed by coupling copper sulfide with the surface of organic highpolymer fiber and has a specific resistance of 10<0>-10<-2>OMEGA.cm. The resistance heat-emitting body thus formed generates heat when current is fed to the ends of the conductive fiber, and it is very flexible and hard to be folded. Because the heat emission occurs on the surface of fibers, the heat is absorbed and held by the organic highpolymer fiber inside these fibers, so that it excels in warm keeping property and there is no fear of rapid temp. drop even though current feed is interrupted. This enables versatile application as a resistance heat-emitting body. |
