<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a fluorine-containing alcohol by which the operating efficiency is improved and the yield is efficiently increased. SOLUTION: This method for producing the fluorine-containing alcohol comprises reacting alcohols with a fluorine-containing olefin in the presence of a radical initiator. Furthermore, the radical initiator is not decomposed and the reactional product is distilled to recover the alcohols and radical initiator. The recovered alcohols and the recovered radical initiator are reutilized for the reaction.</p> |
