Bag for cold compress - made of specified foil with porous top layer on chambers

A bag (1) consists of many adjoining water-filled chambers (2), e.g. of hexagonal shape which are enclosed on the sides (3) and below (4) by a watertight plastic foil (PVC). To apply a compress of melting ice to parts of the human body, the top of the bag has a porous layer (5) of foam, a PU foil or a porous fibre mat. Welded seams (7,8) form the joints. A tear-off foil (9) with a tab (10) covers the layer (5) prior to use. The layer (5) can be impregnated by gel, therapeutics, essential oils, menthol, camphor, alumina acetate etc.. ADVANTAGE - This creates a simple and quick application of 'moist cold' to parts of the human body.
