PURPOSE:To realize an excellent spalling resistance without damage to corrosion resistance by blending an amorphous refractory material having specified physical properties with a suitable amount of filler, having a thermal expansion property different from that of the above-mentioned refractory material and a suitable particle size. CONSTITUTION:With an amorphous refractory material having 0.5-0.9% thermal expansion coefficient at 700 deg.C and <=10mm particle size, 3-15wt.% silica stone having 0.2-3mm particle size and/or 10-30wt.% mullite filler having 1-10mm particle size are blended. As the above-mentioned amorphous refractory material, any of a basic or neutral amorphous refractory material, e.g. an Al2O3-SiO2- based material containing >=90wt.% Al2O3 or an Al2O3-MgO-based material can be used. As the silica stone, various kinds of marketing materials can be used. A marketing electcrofused mullite, a synthetic mullite, etc., can be used as the above-mentioned mullite filler. |
