The invention relates to a method for harvesting and bundling plants (5), preferably energy forest plants and the like planted in rows, whereby plants, where appropriate from one or several planting rows, in a harvesting assembly (2), during the advancement of the assembly across the ground (15), are continuously gripped by a feeding apparatus (4) and are cut off, and, after having been cut off, are conveyed by the feeding apparatus (4), for further treatment or storing, whereby the cut-off plants are broken at a position (5a) between their ends and are folded around the point of breaking, in a direction towards the subsequent plants (5), for forming a continuous bead (10) of folded plants. |
