PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new purified conjugated triene fatty acid-containing fat that has improved color and smell as well as a high oxidation satiability and a low polymer content, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: This new purified conjugated triene fatty acid-containing fat is manufactured by decolorizing a conjugated triene fatty acid-containing fat with an adsorbent and/or performing steam distillation at a temperature lower than one employed for a usual steam distillation.
