FUEL CELL POWER-GENERATING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell power-generating system equipped with good utility required of a vehicle. SOLUTION: The fuel cell power-generating system 1 is equipped with a fuel cell 2, a hydrogen reservoir 10 having a hydrogen storage material MH capable of storing hydrogen and releasing, and a heating means to heat the hydrogen reservoir 10 and release hydrogen for supplying it to the fuel cell 2. The heating means consists in a catalyst combustor 12 using as fuel the fuel cell exhaust gas having a high concentration of unreacted hydrogen and capable of generating a high-temperature heat. This allows use of hydrogen storage material MH having a high hydrogen releasing temperature and a large hydrogen storing quantity per unit weight.
