PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of reducing the amount of cooling air and excellent in the pressure resisting performance. SOLUTION: The fuel cell device is furnished with a first exterior wall K1, a first heat transmission part Ea, electrolyte film C, second heat transmission part Ef, and a second exterior wall K2, whereby an air forward passage A1 is defined by the first exterior wall K1 and the first heat transmission part Ea while an air return passage A2 is defined by the first heat transmission part Ea and electrolyte film C, and a fuel gas forward passage F1 is bounded by the second exterior wall K2 and second heat transmission part Ef, and a fuel gas return passage F2 is bounded by the second heat transmission part Ef and electrolyte film C, and is equipped with at least one fuel cell unit U which produces electricity through reactions of the air a2 in the air return passage A2 with the fuel gas f2 in the fuel gas return passage F2 to be made through the electrolyte film C. The heat transmission part transmits the reaction heat and cools the reaction part. |
