PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card for charging electronic money without being restricted by the account balance and the cash balance in hand and to provide a method for charging electronic money to the IC card. SOLUTION: The IC card 300 authenticates an original based on a password received from a user terminal 100 and transmits generated information in the IC card to the user terminal 100 (3). The user terminal 100 generates transmission data and transmits it to an electronic money server 600 (4). The electronic money server 600 decodes transmission data and transmits credit information and the like to a host computer 700 (5). When a result that the host computer 700 performs credit judgment is credit authorization (6), an electronic money charging instruction is given to the IC card 300 (7) and the user terminal 100 gives the charge command of electronic money to the IC card 300 (8). |
