<p>PURPOSE:To improve the space utilization efficiency in a sheet feed cassette and enhance the handling property, reduce the number of sheet feed cassettes to be used, and reduce the cost. CONSTITUTION:Edge regulating plate mounting seats 16a-16f meeting plural sizes of sheets whose positions have been set at the edge are formed in a setting direction and a cross direction in a sheet storage case 10 formed according to maximum sheet size, and for feeding small size of sheets, edge regulating plates 21a-21c, 28a, 28b are installed so as to enable a sheet feed cassette to become a composite sheet feed cassette which stores two types of sheets from both directions of the front and rear for possible attachment/detachment to/from an electrophotographic device body from an arbitrary direction.</p> |
