The stablizer comprises a DC power supply (100) fed by the commercial AC input voltage; a resonant circuit (300) providing the high frequency on-off voltage into the discharge tube (18); an initial start current control circuit which provides the starting power source before the discharge tube is off; a voltage controlled oscillator (53) outputting the driving high frequency signal; a timing unit (62) which turns on and off the oscillator unit (53); and a rated power control circuit unit (400) which controls power of the discharge tube (18).
