PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lubricant for reduction processing which can decrease a residual oil in a long-size-coil metal pipe in an annealing furnace without conducting a special residual oil removal treatment, hence can improve the brazing properties of the metal pipe, and pref. can enhance the lubricity in reduction to prevent the seizure in reduction. SOLUTION: This lubricant comprises a polyalkylene glycol (PAG) contg. 3% or lower PAG having a mol.wt. of 1,000 or lower and pref. has a viscosity of 80cSt or higher at 40 deg.C. The lubricant may comprise the PAG and a 6-13C alcohol. |
