The invention relates to the use of 15-deoxyspergualine in the production of a medicament to enhance transgenic cell tolerance in mammals. The use of 15-deoxyspergualine enables the production of transgenic expression products to be substantially extended even after discontinuation of immunosuppressive treatment.
