<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a portable information collector having operating buttons for various functions improved in its handleability and also improved in the operability of its various operation buttons. SOLUTION: A pair of operating buttons, e.g. erasion buttons 6a and 6b are placed on the left and right sides of a device main body 1 to attain the similar functions. Meanwhile, plural pairs of operating buttons which attain the similar functions are placed at the right and left sides of the main body 1 to attain the different functions from each other. In such cases, the paired operating buttons of similar types, e.g. a following page button 4 and a preceding page button 5, the buttons 6a and 6b, etc., are symmetrically placed. These operating buttons are arranged at the upper part against the center axis, which divides the main body 1 into the upper and lower parts. If two pairs of operating buttons, which attain the different functions are placed close to each other, the sizes of paired buttons which are operated by the finger tip parts are increased compared with the other paired buttons.</p> |
