PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a satisfactory image without applying any fatigue to an observer by appropriately controlling the image to be displayed on a display screen, while utilizing a signal (information) detected by a head position detecting means. SOLUTION: A controller controls the image to be displayed on the display screen, while utilizing the signal detected by a head position detecting means 2. The head position detecting means 2 respectively arranges head position detecting parts having oscillating gyros on three-dimensionally represented X, Y and Z axes, and the head position detecting part detects the angular velocity around the correspondent axis for each fixed time. In this case, the controller finds the value of the difference between a k-th (k≠1) value detected by each head detecting part and a (k-1)th value for each axis, while utilizing the value detected by each head position detecting part and compares the found differential value with a preset reference value. When that compared value is larger or equal, the image around that axis is changed but when it is smaller, image is not changed.
