PURPOSE: A method for driving a MIM(Metal Insulator Metal) liquid crystal display without cross-talk is provided, which reduces a cross-talk by 10 % compared to the prior driving method. CONSTITUTION: A gray level step of a pixel is modulated to compensate a cross-talk, from a gray step calculation value of a former frame on an equal signal line and a gray step of a pixel of a present frame. The gray step calculation value of the former frame and the gray step of the present frame corresponding to each signal line are modulated at a decoder through a shift register by being synchronized to a horizontal synchronous signal and a clock. And a part of the upper gray steps are calculated.
