PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC transmission method which is capable of performing power transmission stably, even in low power range by DC currents under minimum operation current, using a single transmission path. SOLUTION: Suppose that a disconnector 62 and a disconnetor 67 are opened and that a disconnector 61, a disconnetor 66, a disconnector 64, and a disconnector 69 connected to a transmission line 1 are closed, because a transmission path 2 cannot be used due to a trouble. In electric place A on the transmission side, an inverter 16 is operated for normal conversion, and a converter 26 makes inversion operation, and the power is reciprocated with a DC current J2A between both. Making the DC current J2A larger than the minimum current Jm will prevent the interrupt of currents. The differential current between the DC current J1A of the converter 16 and the DC current J2A of the converter 26 is sent as a DC current Jd from the electric place A to an electric place B. By making this DC current Jd smaller than the minimum operating current, the low-power transmission becomes possible with a DC current smaller than the minimum operation current. |
