CHRONOLOGICAL TABLE DISPLAY METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document display in which one or more document data are displayed in synchronism with a time axis and an adjustment is made for the display starting number(the number of arrangements) of events in which each document is constituted in accordance with an externally given condition. SOLUTION: This method is provided with a step 62 which reads definition information in a display format and chronological table data, steps 63 and 64 which edit data based on the definition information in the display format and a step 65 which outputs the editing result to an output device. The step 62 time sequentially sorts out events of each chronological table data so that each event is referred to by using a symbol or a number.
