PURPOSE: A foreign language learning method is provided to convert voices, offered in a foreign movie or news, into corresponding characters, and to transmit the characters to a terminal of a learner with important words. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of a learner accessing a server, the server checking a user ID and a password for a member authentication(S100), the server transmitting a moving picture selection menu to the learner(S110), the user selecting one among the moving picture selection menu(S120), the server searching for text data and related wave file according to the selected menu(S130), the server transmitting the searched text and wave file to the terminal of learner(140), the terminal executing the text and wave file with a media player(S150), the user selecting a word among the text, the server searching for the word in a word dictionary storage stored in a word order or a frequency order, the server transmitting the searched word to the terminal, the server storing the searched word at a personal data storage, the server transmitting a form for checking the searched word to a mobile terminal or other wired terminal designated by the learner after completing the learning process, the learner filling in the form for checking the searched word, the server storing the form including a transmission time on the searched word, the server transmitting the searched word to the mobile terminal or the wired terminal, the learner determining a deletion or a storage of the transmitted word, and the server updating the personal data storage according to the learner's determination.
