PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a theft of vehicle by making a vehicle in a drivable condition selectively by means of a seat belt structure when a buckle locking member supported by a restraint belt engages with a buckle locking mechanism and removing the buckle locking member from the restraint belt so that an occupant may hide or carry it when he/she leaves the vehicle. SOLUTION: A removable buckle plate member serves as a key and is connected to a buckle locking mechanism so that only a specific buckle plate member 1 may engage with and act on a corresponding locking mechanism 2. The key connection of the buckle plate member 1 and the locking mechanism is mechanically-performed with a typical key structure or in the form of the identifying element such as a digital, audio or optical data, or other recognizable individual data form transferred between the plate and a lock member. When the properly key-connected plate member lockingly-engages, the buckle locking mechanism can steer the vehicle correctly. |
