PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent malodor from being generated in purified water after water passes through a filter medium. SOLUTION: At least one member forming a contact liquid portion among constitutional members of a water purifier 10 is formed of the material and the filter medium 20 compounded into the member forming the contact liquid portion with 0.0001-10 wt.% at least one kind of inorganic adsorbent selected from among zirconium, titanium, magnesium, aluminum, and silica. Thus, unpleasant odor does not occurs in initial flowing water after purified water has been retained for a long period.
