PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an executing method of lining the inside surface of a cylindrical body by which lining of a complete roundness cross section can be easily executed without performing machining such as grinding. SOLUTION: On the inside surface of a cylindrical body 7 installed in a regenerator of a fluid catalytic cracker, a plurality of support rings 12 whose inner peripheral part has complete roundness are temporarily fitted in multiple stages up and down at fixed spaced intervals, and between the support rings 12, partial linings 13 are executed every other stage. After that, the support rings 12 are removed, and then, between the partial linings 13, the residual partial linings 14 are executed so that the gaps between them are filled. In this way, lining 10 of a complete roundness cross section can be easily executed without performing grinding.
