PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonograph that can be safely used by displaying information about use of probes and a device main body. SOLUTION: Storage circuits 11A, 11B store data about handling instructions for probes 1A, 1B, and a CPU 8 performs selection to determine whether or not the display of the handling instructions is required according to inputs from a console 8. When the CPU 9 selects to determine that the handling instructions need to be displayed, the data about the handling instructions are displayed on a display monitor 7.
