PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a walking-type weeder which can lead the cut grass smoothly into the corner for cutting blades and can guide tall grasses as they are exactly fallen down without clinging to the guide and guides the grasses and be guided to a receiving port by fitting the leading guide for tall grasses at a specific position. SOLUTION: This walking-type weeder is composed of cutting blades 2 orthogonal to each vertically provided rotatable shaft 1, a receiving port 4 of grasses formed in front of a cutting blade cover 3 provided to cover the cutting blade 2 and one stabilizing wheel 6 for stabilizing a reaping height fitted on the tip of a stay 5 from the side of the machine body 8 to forwardly extended to the center of the receiving port 4, and when a leading guide 7 for the tall grasses is provided at a rather upper front of the receiving port 4, the guide 7 is fitted at an intermediate part of the stay 5 in crossing to right and left direction.
