PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional file transfer device can transmit only a difference file of one generation and can not carry out efficient transmission based on the transfer of a difference file when changes of two generations or more are generated. SOLUTION: A server device 1 is provided with a difference storage part 12 for storing difference files in each version and a file synthesis/transmission part 14 for synthesizing and transmitting a difference file when the transmission of a difference file of two generation or more is necessary and constituted so as to synthesize the difference files stored in the difference storage part 12 on the basis of the version information of files stored in a client device 2 which is transmitted when the client device 2 is requested as necessity and transmit the synthesized file to the client device 2.
