MULTI-CHANNEL SOUND CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize omni-directional sound image localization by a simple circuit for 5-channel stereo production. SOLUTION: A multi-channel stereo sound signal mixing circuit is provided with a sound signal distribution circuit, which distributes signals corresponding to a front range from 90 deg. on the right to 90 deg. on the left except the just front out of N (>5) signals of an N-channel stereo to two right and left channels of a 5-channel stereo signal by using a head part transmission function filter simulating its directions or the level difference, and distributes signals corresponding to a rear range from 120 deg. on the right to 120 deg. on the left to the right rear and the left rear of the 5-channel stereo with a proper level difference so as to localize a sound image in its direction and a signal corresponding to the direction of the front to a center channel.
