PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a reduction in noises and power consumption and the suppression of banding at a low cost in an image forming device capable of copying on both surfaces of a paper sheet. SOLUTION: Spring clutch gears 18, 20, and 24 and an electromagnetic clutch 56 are provided in a gear train, the gear train is kept in a normally meshed state and, when the paper sheet 40 is fed in a paper discharge direction, a discharge roll gear 26 is rotated forward with a first drive source 10 and, when the paper sheet is fed in a reverse direction, the discharge roll gear 26 is driven in the reverse direction with a second drive source 50.
