PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent recording paper from remaining when extracting a paper feeding cassette from an image forming device body when constituting a paper feeder capable of processing a jam from the feeder body front side by arranging a paper feeding passage in the paper feeding cassette. SOLUTION: The paper carrying passage 16 is arranged in the paper feeding cassette 12 on the extracting directional inmost side, the paper carrying passage 16 is constituted so as to be extractable together with the paper feeding cassette 12, a member capable of nipping the paper is arranged along the paper carrying passage 16, and when extracting the paper feeding cassette 12 from a facsimile device 1 body, the paper is nipped by the nip member, the nip member is composed of a pressing plate 41 and a part of a carrying guide, and when further extracting the paper feeding cassette 12 from the facsimile device 1 body, the nip member releases a nip.
