PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picking device 57 capable of concurrently picking multiple columns of articles in the unit of a column, improving the picking capability of articles 1, and easily coping with the picking of many kinds of articles 1. SOLUTION: A plurality of picking means 58 are provided in parallel so that articles 1 can be picked in the unit of a column. Each picking means 58 is provided with clamp units 59, a moving means moving the clamp units 59 between an aligning position 35 where articles 1 are aligned in multiple columns and a transfer position 56 where the articles 1 delivered from the aligning position 35 are transferred, and a reciprocating means reciprocating the clamp units 59 against the articles 1. Multiple columns of articles 1 are picked in the unit of a column, the picking capability of the articles 1 can be improved, and the picking of many kinds of articles 1 can easily be coped with by setting the moving means and the reciprocating means of the picking means 58.
