<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service providing system and its method which control an effective front end based on the response time of a service with respect to a versatile service request from a customer and by which the performance environment provider of the front end can demand a charge corresponding to the use quantity of the front end from a front end user. SOLUTION: The service providing system is equipped with a server for performing service processing and service providing to a client in response to a service request from the client, a means for measuring service response time between the service request from the client to the server and the service providing from server to the client, a means for deciding whether or not the service response time is equal to or longer than a set value, a means for preparing a front end that performs a portion of or the entire part of the service processing and the service to be provided by the server when the service response time is longer than the set value, and a means for making the front end perform a portion of or the entire part of the service processing on behalf of the server.</p> |
