PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an FRP product manufacturing method using a method for efficiently laying up a reinforcing fiber fabric on the cavity surface of a mold while stably ensuring the design properties of an FRP product having the woven structure of the reinforcing fiber fabric and keeping the woven structure causing no disturbance of the reinforcing fiber fabric. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the fiber reinforced plastic product by laying up a reinforcing fiber base material 5 on the cavity surface 1a of the mold 1 having the cavity surface 1a having the shape of a molded product inside of the same to impregnate the base material 5 with a resin and curing the impregnated base material to manufacturing the fiber reinforced plastic product, a release sheet 4 is arranged at least on a part of the cavity surface 1a between the cavity surface 1a of the mold and the reinforcing fiber base material 5 when the reinforcing fiber base material 5 is laid up on the cavity surface 1a and the reinforcing fiber base material 5 is pressed to the cavity surface 1a of the mold while peeling the release sheet 4 to be arranged thereto.
