PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating of a bean-jam-filled wafer, capable of displaying a scene, a picture, a figure, or a letter on the bean-jam-filled wafer cake itself and capable of giving a high commercial value to the cake, and to provide the bean-jam-filled wafer cake. SOLUTION: This coating of the bean-jam-filled wafer has an outer surface on which the figure, the letter, etc., is displayed, wherein the figure, the letter, etc., is printed by using an edible ink. A printing method comprises using the edible ink as a printing ink and directly printing the figure, etc., on the outer surface of the coating of the bean-jam-filled wafer by a printer.
