A shared data channel assigning apparatus comprises a MAC identifier imparting means that imparts common MAC identifiers to mobile stations that are in an intermittent reception state; and an intermittent reception timing control means that controls the mobile stations, to which the common MAC identifiers are imparted, such that none of the intermittent reception timings of the mobile stations are overlapped with each other.
