PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-size camera with a transmission function which can transmit images or the like photographed by the camera to different places away from the camera, and also to provide an image transmission and reception system which can transmit the images photographed by the camera with a transmission function to different places away from the system and can make them recorded there. SOLUTION: Transmission data including image signals based on the images photographed by the camera 51 with a transmission function are directly transmitted to a database 55 on a communication network 54 via a cable 17, and then are temporarily recorded in the database 55. The transmission data temporarily recorded in the database 55 on the communication network 54 are received by a recorder 52 installed at a place away from the camera 51 with a transmission function, and the image signals are recorded in a recording meidum. |
