PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device system that has a terminal arrangement devised such that even if a second electronic device is suddenly detached during recording after the transmission of an image from a first electronic device to the second electronic device, a shut down operation is safely performed, and also to provide an electronic device. SOLUTION: In a camera 100 in which a lens unit 101 is attached to a camera body 201 by a rotating operation, terminals 221b are provided on the camera body. The arrangement pitch of the terminals 221b is made different from the arrangement pitches of the other terminals so that when the lens unit 101 is detached from the camera body 201, the terminals 221b are disconnected first while the other terminals remain connected.
