PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging member which obviates the occurrence of an image defect due to resistance unevenness and shape unevenness by using a means for taking off a tube without touching the use part of the tube, a cartridge for an electrophotographic apparatus mounted with the charging member, and an electrophotographic apparatus. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the coated tube for the charging member in which the take-off unit of the coated tube for the charging member consists of two vertically moving chuck mechanisms and a conveyance means for taking off the tubes downward while alternately gripping the tubes is used and the tube are provided. The charging member produced in the manner described above, the cartridge for the electrophotographic apparatus subjected to application expansion and the electrophotographic apparatus are provided.
