SUBSTITUDE FOR NATURAL SOIL AND GROUND MATERIAL USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fill a natural soil such as the Arakida soil on the verge of exhaustion by effectively utilizing a dam-dredged soil and coal ash having no application before. SOLUTION: This substitute for natural soil is formed by mixing the dam-dredged soil with the coal ash. The substitute for natural soil is suitably used as a ground material, particularly as a ground surface layer material. The unburned carbon content of the coal ash is desirably 10 to 20 wt.%. When the syubstitute for natural soil is used as the ground material, the mixing ratio of the coal ash to the dam-dredged soil is desirably 0:100 to 20:80 (wt.%) in the dry and wet state of the surface.
