A washing machine is provided to reduce vibration and noise by setting optimized dehydration profile according to the different installation environments and performing dehydration. A washing machine comprises a washing tub(30), a motor(29), a sensor(26), a key input unit(20), a storing unit(24), and a control unit(22). The control command is inputted to the key input unit. The profile of the dehydration and a data of the washing machine are stored in the storing unit. The control unit increase speed of the motor for maximum dehydration speed when a correct command is inputted from the key input unit. After increasing speed of the motor, the control unit straightens the profile of the dehydration memorized in the storing unit considering a resonance vibration range. The resonance vibration range is judged by using sensed state of the washing tub. |
