A small electronic casing made of an extrusion molding material of aluminum alloy where at least the main portion has a hollow cross-section, and at least one of a component fixing hole and a cut is formed in the extrusion molding material. A method for producing the small electronic casing comprises a press punching process for forming at least one of the component fixing hole and the cut in the extrusion molding material of aluminum alloy having the predetermined length and the hollow cross-section. The thinner aluminum alloy casing having high dimensional precision and exhibiting excellent machinability and productivity can be provided.
