摘要 <p>A method for manufacturing self-glazed geopolymer tiles from flying ash and blast furnace slag is provided to reduce energy consumption largely, lower a production cost markedly, and improve the quality and external appearance of the products. A method for manufacturing self-glazed geopolymer tiles from flying ash and blast furnace slag includes the steps of: (1) grinding granulated blast furnace slag finely and/or mechanically activating the granulated blast furnace slag under a dry or humid condition in a milling device for 30-120minutes and reducing the size of the activated slag to 100mum or smaller; (2) mixing water and alkaline activator ash in a ratio of 10:1(v/v) and aging the mixture for 8-12hours to prepare about N/10 of an alkaline activator solution; (3) mixing 10-40wt% of the blast furnace slag powder of the step (1) with 60-90wt% of flying ash for 5-30minutes; (4) mixing the alkaline activator solution of the step (2) with the mixture of the step (3) for 5-15minutes; (5) adding 0.1-2% of a superplasticizer to the slurry based on the weight of slurry obtained in the step (3); (6) making a non-sticky mirror surface bottom of a tile cast by the known method; (7) vibro-casting the slurry into a tile mold; (8) leaving the tile mold alone under a humid condition(90-98%) for 1-8hours; (9) taking the cast tile out of the mold and drying the tile at ambient temperature for 2-24hours; and (10) heating the dried tile in an oven at 50-350°C for 2-8hours, and then cooling the heated tile to ambient temperature.</p>
