PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fibrous structure having an excellent attachment preventing ability for all aquatic organisms such as algae, barnacles or parasites and persistence thereof without a fear of environmental pollution. SOLUTION: This fibrous structure is a ropelike, a sheetlike or a netlike fibrous structure and a photocatalyst is contained and/or fixed to the fibrous structure.
