<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for measuring an adsorption rate of a carbonaceous adsorbent which renews the adsorption rate of a carbonaceous adsorbent according to a change in the adsorption characteristics of the carbonaceous adsorbent caused by the cycle of use. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises: a sampling device which extracts a predetermined amount of activated carbon or the like from a predetermined position of an adsorption processing apparatus as a sample; a gas passing test apparatus 50 which allows a gas, in which the concentrations of predetermined substances are known, to flow through a sample cell 510, into which the extracted sample is introduced, at a predetermined flow rate, and measures a temporal change in the concentrations of the predetermined substances in an exhaust gas after the passing; and a control/operation section 51 which newly calculates an adsorption rate formula based on an adsorption rate characteristics curve obtained from gas passing test results or corrects a stored adsorption rate formula. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
