<p>The vehicle (1) has a traction drive unit (14) with a drive wheel (5) and a propulsion motor, which is formed as a brushless electric motor (15) or a wheel hub motor. The propulsion motor stays in drive connection with the drive wheel without any interconnection of a gear. A housing of the propulsion motor is provided with a flange for retaining a wheel rim of the drive wheel, and another flange for fastening a brake device e.g. brake disk or parking brake device.
