<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording head which accurately detects an ink discharge failure, and has a high throughput. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording head has: a flow passage 18a communicating with a discharge port 2 discharging ink; a discharge heater 3 provided in the flow passage 18a and generating heat energy to discharge ink from the discharge port 2; and a detecting means provided to correspond to the flow passage 18a, generating heat energy according to the generation of the heat energy by the discharge heater 3, and detecting an ink temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
