PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly-functional foamed molding capable of reducing use of a synthetic resin material derived from petroleum by utilizing effectively natural resources, and improving an effect of an added functional material; and to provide a method for producing the highly-functional foamed molding capable of improving foaming property at the molding time and yield of the functional material, while suppressing production cost.SOLUTION: Concerning a foamed molding formed by using water as a foaming agent and having gas permeability, the foamed molding is molded by including a hydrophilic natural polymer material, a thermoplastic resin to be kneaded with the natural polymer material at the molding time, and a functional material showing a required function by utilizing gas permeability of the foamed molding. Further, the functional material is attached onto a cell wall or stored in the cell. |
