PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To infer a subject which a user intends by learning and to automatically determine it as a main subject without troubling the user.SOLUTION: An image, a name, a number n, a feature amount h, the number of main subject times c and main subject time t of a face of a registered person are stored in a personal information list L1. A feature detection section 124 detects a position and a size of photographed image in a face part included in the image for each frame and they are stored as a detection result list L2. A number n and a center position of the detected face part, the size of the face part, an authentication result (a), main subject information m, the number of main subject times c2, main subject time t2 and the like are stored in a subject list L3. When the number I2 of elements where the authentication result (a) is not zero is two or more in the subject list L3, the main subject is determined on the basis of the number of main subject times c and the main subject time t in the respective elements [a] in the personal information list L1 having the authentication result (a) whose value is the same as the authentication results (a). |
