The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for checking a driving lane, wherein the apparatus comprises: a sensor module having a plurality of sensors to acquire sensing data relative to lane estimation of a vehicle which is being driven; and a control module estimating a lane of a vehicle which is being driven on the basis of order of priority, reliability, and lane misrecognition probability with respect to the sensors.
