Provided is a manufacturing method of an ethylene polymer having particular molecular weight distribution and a high molecular weight. The manufacturing method of the ethylene polymer of the present invention comprises a step of polymerizing ethylene only, or ethylene and a monomer under the presence of a catalyst. The catalyst comprises: (A) a main catalyst compound represented by chemical formula I; and (B) at least one type of a promotor compound selected from the group comprising compounds represented by chemical formula III-1 and chemical formula III-2.
