PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof rail material that comprises a hollow extruded material with an aluminum matrix coming out in appearance, and eliminates a risk of impairing visual quality by a welding part of the extrusion.SOLUTION: A roof rail material 10 comprises aluminum hollow extrusion materials, and is mounted in the form extending in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle in a left and right edge of the roof panel outer surface of a vehicle. When areas 12, 13 toward an upper part and a vehicle side are assumed as a main appearance area A in a mounting state of the roof rail material 10, the welding part of the hollow extruded material is formed in the main appearance area A outside and/or a corner 15 in the main appearance area A. Accordingly, the welding part is not formed in the inside of the main appearance area A except the corner 15, and at least the surface of the main appearance area A is polished.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
