PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paste feeder, a screen printer, a paste feeding method, and a screen printing method capable of preventing a paste from dripping from a paste pot.SOLUTION: The paste feeding method includes: connecting a connection part 64 arranged in an inner lid 62 of a paste pot 60 to a pot holding part 52; making the pot holding part 52 hold the paste pot 60 so that a through hole 63 faces downward; extruding a paste Pst from the through hole 63 by pushing a bottom face of a cylindrical member 61 with a paste extruding part (a pushing cylinder 71, an extruding member 72, an annular member 73) and moving the cylindrical member 61 relatively to the inner lid 62 of the paste pot 60; and pulling up the cylindrical member 61 by the paste extruding part while holding the bottom face of the cylindrical member 61 with a suction force generated in the bottom face (an inner side space 73R) of the cylindrical member 61 by a suction force generating mechanism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
